Set to be a vet?
Try KidZania

Ever since PDSA began we've encouraged children to care for animals. Now there’s a great new experience for kids who want to learn how to be a vet and give better care to their pets at indoor theme park KidZania.

We’ve partnered with natural pet food company Lily’s Kitchen and launched a joint venture with them at KidZania in the Westfield Shopping Centre in north London.

Designed for children aged 4 to 14, KidZania is an indoor theme park like no other. Children can independently explore more than 60 different jobs and test their skills in a variety of activities – from flying a plane to reading the TV news to being a detective or in our case – a vet.

One of the activities is a vet clinic called the Pet Wellbeing Centre. Here, children can learn more about what it takes to be a vet, including playing an ‘Operation’- style game where they pretend to operate on an animal that’s swallowed something it shouldn’t!

Our activity opened in mid-July and the three-year deal with KidZania will help us to increase awareness of both our brand, the five animal welfare needs and potentially inspire the next generation of vets and vet nurses.
