Making a difference

‘I want to ride my bicycle’ as Queen once sang – and so do lots of others! So why not ride your bicycle on the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100?

We’ve got places available for the ride on Sunday 30 July. A large team of PDSA cyclists will take to the closed streets of London and Surrey, following the route of the 2012 Olympics, to cycle an incredible 100 miles and raise funds for sick and injured pets. Alongside other colleagues (including Sunderland Contact Centre Agent Darren Snaith pictured) and volunteers, we’re delighted to have teams joining in from some Pet Practices. We’ll be there to cheer all of our wonderful cyclists past on the day and meet them afterwards in St James’ Park.

This is a great event as we ‘gear up’ for our Centenary – cycle 100 miles for 100 years in the city where it all began. And if you’re keen to ride in 2018 please contact our Community Fundraising Team at events@pdsa.org.uk

Great North Run

Ever thought of running the biggest half marathon in the UK and the world? More than 57,000 runners take part in the famous 13.1 mile Great North Run starting in Newcastle and ending in South Shields. Whether you’re a new or hardened runner, this is a run that you need to experience in your lifetime, so why not join Team PDSA this year and run for us?

We’re always looking for supporters to help us cheer on our runners and ensure they have great memories of the day. Will you come along and help? Contact us at events@pdsa.org.uk or call 01952 797453.

5ks, 10ks and obstacle races

We have access this year to 5k and 10k running or obstacle race events all over the UK – and there’s something for everyone. Check out what’s still to come this year and please get in touch if you would like a place. If anyone puts in a team, we’ll throw in one free place per team, so why not sign up for some great team building?
